Trina Dixon has extensive experience in accounting and financial management that she brings to her role as Director of Finance and Administration at HFLI. With a diverse background spanning banking, wholesale vacation/travel, automotive logistics, and not-for-profit organizations, Trina has consistently demonstrated her ability to enhance financial operations across various sectors. She is currently responsible for overseeing financial planning, managing contracts, and ensuring the smooth administration of financial activities to support HFLI’s mission.

Trina’s most personally rewarding experiences have been within not-for-profit organizations specializing in Behavioral Health with Integrated Healthcare. Prior to joining HFLI, she has held several key roles including Senior Contract Manager, Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Associate Executive Director – Finance. Additionally, she has actively contributed to various committees and Boards of nonprofit organizations, further showcasing her dedication to community service and organizational excellence.

Trina believes that mentoring staff is key to fostering team building, organizational growth, and individual development, all of which she views as essential for overall business success. She holds a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. Trina is also a proud alumna of Cass Technical High School.
