Lisa has more than 35 years of broad experience in entrepreneurial business, K-12 education, and nonprofit environments. She works closely with HFLI’s Executive Director to advance organizational strategy and sustainability. She is responsible for all facets of communications, including branding and marketing across all HFLI programs. Lisa started working with HFLI in 2006, and has been an integral part of our growth, including HFLI’s ongoing organizational and fund development, expansion of signature Deeper Learning by Doing(R) programs for adults and youth, and the planning, launch and development of five Henry Ford Academies in three major US cities. In this time, she has demonstrated an ability to connect people, organizations, and opportunities in purposeful ways, with a creative confidence that she nurtures in herself and others. Prior to her work at HFLI, Lisa was a senior account executive with The Devon Group; during her nearly seven years at the PR firm she managed client, press and analyst relationships, garnering positive national coverage and awards that catalyzed business results for HR tech clients. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Miami University in Ohio, and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. When she’s not working, Lisa is always in hot pursuit of Michighan’s best soft pretzel, a game of Bananagrams, and more beach time with her family and friends.
