Detroit Middle School Students — Take charge of your impact! Through work in teams and alongside mentors who are entrepreneurs and social innovators, this 5-day camp will help you gain in-demand skills and mindsets that position you as an emerging changemaker in school, at work, and for your community.
This camp features HFLI’s STEAM Lab curriculum, developed in partnership with Ford Motor Company Fund to develop creative problem solving and entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Participants will:

- Compete for team prizes
- Enjoy free meals and snacks
All participants attend at no cost* thanks to generous support from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan via the Detroit Auto Dealers Association Charitable Foundation, and Ford Motor Company Fund; please commit to being present for all five days.
This 5-day summer camp is a collaboration by the Henry Ford Learning Institute and JOURNi and aims to empower students to become capable, curious, and courageous leaders, innovators, and agents of change in their community through groundbreaking educational opportunities.
