HFLI’s Ford STEAM Lab Camp – Session 2 – Detroit, FREC @ Fisher Upper

Are you a 12-14 year-old who dreams of making a difference by creating a mobile app?

Make that dream a reality with HFLI’s Ford STEAM Lab Summer Camp!

Session 2t.
August 14-18, 2017
FREC @ Fisher Upper
15491 Maddelein St.

Dream. Create. Build. Plan. Pitch. Over the course of 5 days, you’ll learn about design thinking, build a mobile app prototype, develop a business plan, and pitch your ideas. Dynamic coaches, tech entrepreneurs, and the new Ford STEAM Lab program combine to create a fun, hands-on learning experience that will help you see your future in exciting new ways!

All campers will attend at no cost thanks to a generous grant from Ford Fund. The camp runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm and lunch will be provided every day. Young people ages 12-14 entering grades 7-9 are welcome.

But you need to act quickly! There are only a limited number of spots available. Apply online or in person at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center (FREC) in Southwest Detroit, at 2826 Bagley St. We will contact you within 3 days to confirm your registration status. Reach out to fordsteamlab@hfli.org or call 734-306-8589 with questions.
